What is a bargain? / Co to jest okazja?
A bargain is something you buy at a lower price.„Okazja to coś, co kupujesz taniej.”
Examples from the podcast:
„Okazje to jest liczba mnoga. Okazja, liczba pojedyncza.”(Bargains is plural. Bargain is singular.)
„Jedna okazja, dwie okazje, pięć okazji.”(One bargain, two bargains, five bargains.)

Agnieszka: „To zależy. Jeśli mam pieniądze, to lubię okazje. Jeśli nie mam pieniędzy, nie lubię okazji.”(It depends. If I have money, I like bargains. If I don’t, I don’t like them.)

Agnieszka: „Ostatnio kupiłam łóżko w cenie promocyjnej. 500 złotych taniej!”(I recently bought a bed on sale. 500 złotych less!)
Adam: „To była mega okazja. Okazja twojego życia!”(It was a mega bargain. The bargain of your life!)

„Na platformie, gdzie ludzie robią zakupy.”(On a platform where people shop.)
„Czasami szukam okazji w supermarketach.”(Sometimes I look for bargains in supermarkets.)
Adam: „Ja też szukam promocji. Czasami można znaleźć fajną promocję.”(I also look for promotions. Sometimes you can find a good one.)

Last Monday, we had a fantastic live lesson focused on the theme of nawyki (habits). It was a valuable opportunity for VIP members to dive into discussions about both good habits (dobre nawyki) and bad habits (złe nawyki) in our lives and explore how they affect us. As always, VIP members received our email newsletter with guidance, translations, and key vocabulary to support their learning. During the live lesson, members could interact with me directly—whether they wanted to chat or simply listen in.
We also engaged in speaking practice, breaking out into small groups to help everyone feel comfortable practicing Polish in a conversational setting. This allowed for more personal interaction and encouraged everyone to put their Polish into practice!
To enhance accessibility, I’m currently working on adding subtitles to this lesson video, so all members will have an easier time following along and reviewing.

I’m looking forward to seeing everyone next Monday at 7:00 p.m., when we’ll shift gears and discuss going to the cinema (iść do kina).
